To translate the human experience into sculpture.
My artistic journey began with a 35 year career as an illustrator.
My assignments included national magazine covers for such publications as Newsweek, U.S.News & World Report, Businessweek, and National Wildlife. In the realm of book publishing, I created the art for thousands of book covers for such publishers as Simon & Schuster, New American Library, Harcourt, Harlequin and St. Martin's Press. My art has also been used for national and international advertising campaigns for such companies as Sprint, Sony, General Foods, and Pfizer.
Although my illustration career was professionally gratifying, it did not provide the artistic freedom to express my personal vision. So, several years ago, I decided to unshackle my creativity and allow for the next step in my artistic journey... to employ sculpture as a means to express my passion for the human experience!
